August in Texas is HOT! To combat the heat, I tried to make flights that were enough of a distance from Austin to make it worthwhile to climb up high and escape the temps. I managed 8 flights in August which included trips to Uvalde, Paris, and Galveston. Galveston is always a beautiful approach over the water.
